Iraq debts: Kuwait uses Britain as an excuse

William posts this item and comments: "One of the more shameful aspects of the behaviour of the modern Kuwaiti establishment is its desire to extract the last pound of flesh from the poor Iraqis in retribution for what they once did to Kuwait":

MPs demanding the settlement of Iraqi loans recently pointed out that Britain paid the final installment for its debts amounting to billions of dollars within six months without demanding the cancellation of these loans . . . .
